ロデオ・ベン（本名＝ベンジャミン・リヒテンシュタイン）1930〜40年代、ハリウッドの西部劇コスチュームデザイナーだった男。デニムは当時、金鉱堀りをはじめとする労働者のワークウェアだった。1947年、ブルーベル社は、ロデオ・ベンにデザイナーとして白羽の矢を立て、初めてカウボーイのブランド、「WRANGLER」が誕生することになる。そして、その記念すべきファーストモデルは、ロデオ・ベンによってジーンズと名付けられ、世界初のJEANSが完成した。 「ベン ザ ロデオテーラー」はメンズビギとラングラーとの共同プロジェクトによる新レーベルです。 1本のジーンズが、誕生するまでの歴史に感動し、リスペクトを込めて「ロデオ・ベン」とのコラボレートにチャレンジしました。カウボーイウェアのオリジナリティーを大切にしながら、今の時代に通用するスタンダードを生み出すつもりです。 MEN'S BIGI ディレクター　坂田　真彦 Rodeo Ben, born Benjamin Lichtenstein, was a costume designer for Hollywood Westerns during the 1930s and '40s. In those times denims were the work gear of choice of working men like those who worked in the gold mines. In 1947 Blue Bell Inc. picked Rodeo Ben on as their designer, and the cowboy brand of Wrangler was born. The first design, and one deserving commemoration, was one that Rodeo Ben called "jeans." They were the world's first pair of JEANS. " Ben The Rodeo Tailor" is a new label born from a joint project between Men's Bigi and Wrangler.
